Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage helps to clear debris, excess fluid, fat molecules, waste products, germs, toxins, and lymphedema. The therapy can be used to drain organs, joints, nerves, skin, and the entire lymphatic system.

Some of benefits of lymphatic drainage include detoxification, pain reduction, stress management, post surgical healing and immune system support. Some conditions that it is helpful to treat are swelling (edema), discomfort from surgical scars, muscle spasms, arthritis, and low back pain. Lymphatic drainage can also help manage autoimmune diseases including lupus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis. Lastly, it can help treat lymphedema, especially after radiation and chemotherapy.

During a Lymphatic Drainage treatment, Luna uses light rhythmic touch to aid healing and relaxation. This session is extremely relaxing and the client may experience a wavelike or floating sensation. The client’s condition will dictate the frequency of treatment.

Luna has completed her training from the Chikly Health Institute of Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. She has completed 100 hours of training in LDT.

INFANT MASSAGE

What better way to bond with your baby than giving them massage? Luna will help you and your family awaken the instinctual wisdom, which lies within you when it comes to connecting and caring for your baby.

Is your baby fussy or restless?  Luna can guide you into soothing your baby with skills of comfort and awareness.  These simple tools will help your baby do what he or she does best, eat, sleep and grow gracefully!!!

Pre & Postnatal Massage

Your body, mind and spirit is changing rapidly and miraculously when you have a baby. These changes may often cause discomforts such as fatigue, swollen feet, shallow breathing, painful hips, engorgement, and sleepless nights. Any of these sound familiar? Studies show massage has a sedating effect on the nervous system, and an increase in muscle tone and circulation which helps to speed the healing process.

Vida Luna can take away those aches and pains, and help your pregnancy and postnatal experience go much smoother, so you can enjoy these priceless moments as much as possible.

As a mother herself, Luna knows you and your family need an abundance of support in these transitional times of conception, pregnancy and parenting. Luna focuses on mom and baby’s body sensitivity through breath awareness and other modalities, increasing sensory awareness and self relaxation skills so valuable during the pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenting process. She offers her wide range of expertise in working with  you no matter how simple or complex your prenatal or post-natal experience may be.

Aqua Luna Sessions

Imagine receiving an massage session in a heated, indoor, non- chlorinated pool. Water is an amazing tool for healing and relaxation, and can bring you into a "blissful" experience, which makes it easier to release stress patterns held in your body.  Enjoy floating your way into relief and serenity with the care of Luna's healing hands.

1.5 hour AquaLuna Session: $200 (includes the use of pool)
